first post

I have never attempted creating a blog before and have rarely even read one. As I get going I apologize for any lack of creativity or originality. I'm working on just getting the essentials down because I'm having internet connectivity problems at home. Of course, after procrastinating throughout the week I come home from school on Friday to discover my modem no longer works. It's only a month old so the manufacturer will replace it - but it will be here next week. Luckily I have good friends who let me monopolize their computer. But it's not the same as staying up all night at home to catch up!
